• How to Maintain a Down Duvet? Let's Learn Together

  Before storage, ensure the duvet is fully dry. Gently pat it for a while to remove surface dust, then store it in a well-ventilated place with an appropriate amount of insect repellent.

  Before using it again, lightly pat or shake the duvet first. This helps the down fluff up quickly, absorb air, and restore its elasticity and loft, so as to achieve the best comfort and warmth retention.

  Pay attention to keeping the duvet clean. Always use a duvet cover for the duvet, and wash the duvet cover regularly.

  If cleaning is necessary,hand washing is a must. Inside the down duvet, there is always a small label printed with maintenance and washing instructions. 90% of down duvets indicate that hand washing is required, and dry cleaning is strictly prohibited.

  Extension: Down Duvet Cleaning Methods

  To prevent the down from leaking out of the duvet, frequent cleaning is not recommended. Generally, cleaning it once every 2 years is sufficient.

  For down duvets, hand washing is preferred as much as possible. Using a neutral detergent will not damage the down. When rinsing, add a little white vinegar uniformly—it can remove residual detergent, otherwise, circular water stains may form on the duvet.

  If machine washing is used, the washing time should not be too long. Excessive washing time may cause the down to leak from the duvet.

  For hand washing, first soak the down duvet in clean water, then gently scrub it with a soft-bristled brush.

  After removing stains, squeeze out the water from the duvet.Do not wring it dry—this will damage the down.
